GSSM Foundation announces new board members
The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics (GSSM) Foundation is pleased to announce the following new board members for the 2018-2021 Board of Directors term:
• Dr. Brian M. Burkhart, Commercial Director, SiVance LLC, Spartanburg
• Tanuja V. Garde, GSSM Class of 1991, Vice President of Intellectual Property & Licensing, Raytheon Company, Waltham, MA
• Darrin Goss, Sr., President & CEO, Coastal Community Foundation, Charleston
• Heather L. Srulevich, VP & CFP, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Health Care Division, Columbia
• Dr. Mark A. Stellingworth, Physician, Palmetto Heart, Hartsville
The GSSM Foundation also recently appointed the following board officers for the 2018-2019 term:
• President Ravi G. Sastry, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Immedion LLC, Greenville
• Vice President Rodger Fuller, Vice President, Sonoco Products Company, Hartsville
• Secretary Bob Brown, Owner, Integrated Systems, Inc, Darlington
• Treasurer James Gergen, CEO, CPM Federal Credit Union, North Charleston
• Ex Officio, Steve Matthews, Shareholder, Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, Columbia
The GSSM Foundation supports GSSM by giving voice to its needs, providing supplemental funds to augment its programs, and informing the public of its accomplishments and contributions to the quality of life and economic prosperity of South Carolina. The Foundation’s core objectives include fundraising, marketing, and alumni relations.
