Girl Scouts to hold fashion show

Creativity and courage will take center stage later this month as Girl Scouts from across the region prepare to present a dazzling Fashion Show showcasing months of hard work, imagination, and leadership.
The Fashion Show will be held at the LakeView Country Club at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event is free and open to the public.
Since August, the girls have been diligently preparing for the highly anticipated event, which promises to be more than a showcase of style. It is a celebration of confidence, teamwork, and self-expression. Throughout the process, the Girl Scouts have participated in workshops designed to build both practical skills and personal growth. They learned how to confidently walk the runway under the guidance of Miss Florence, Icesiz Davis, gaining poise and stage presence along the way.
In addition to runway training, the girls embraced the creative process from start to finish. They sent handwritten invitations to board members, crafted their own jewelry, and created affirmation jars and mood boards centered on themes of confidence and creativity. Each activity was carefully designed to help them earn multiple badges and patches while reinforcing important lessons in leadership and collaboration.
Teamwork played a central role in the journey. The Girl Scouts worked together to select a unifying theme for the show and explored color palettes that would best bring their vision to life. Through thoughtful discussion and shared decision-making, they learned how to combine individual ideas into one cohesive presentation.
Each outfit that will grace the runway reflects not only style but also the girls’ character and unstoppable spirit. Drawing inspiration from the elements, the fashion show will feature looks representing the strength of the earth, the energy of fire, the flow of water, and the power of wind. Every design is a testament to their imagination and growing confidence.
