Fifty Mayo students sign for internships

About 50 students from the Darlington County School District assembled Friday at Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology in Darlington to sign up for paid internships with about 26 local business partners. These interns and business partners are again participating in the school district’s Key to Career program, the district said. These internships ‘put our students into the workplace to learn and hone the skills needed to transition directly into the workforce after high school,’ the district said. PHOTOS BY BOBBY BRYANT
