Dream Flights return to Darlington for 5th year
Ageless Aviation Dream Foundation (Dream Flights) will return to Branham’s Airport in Darlington on Aug. 30.
This is the fifth year they have decided to return as part of the Bojangles’ Southern 500 race weekend events.
The Dream Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring seniors and veterans.
Their mission is to give back to those who have given with a flight in a fully restored 1940 World War II Boeing Stearman open-cockpit biplane.
This plane was used to train military aviators before the war.
The public is welcome to come out to the airport at 757 Branham’s Airport Road, Darlington, to see the plane and take photos.
Flight time will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. American Legion Post 13 of Darlington is organizer of this event.
