Deputy hurt in crash
The S.C. Highway Patrol reports that a Darlington County sheriff’s deputy was injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Jeffords Mill Road near Society Hill Road. The patrol said the unnamed deputy’s Chevy Tahoe ran off the road and went into a ditch about 7:20 a.m.
