Deputies investigating homicide
Darlington County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were dispatched at 8 a.m. to Old Florence Rd. in Darlington where they discovered a vehicle off the side of the road with a male driver deceased. The deceased had at least one gunshot wound.
Darlington County Sheriff’s Investigators have charged Remon Anthony Cadet, 26, of Darlington with murder for the shooting death. Bond was denied for Cadet on June 19. Cadet is currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center.
