DCSO Drug Unit arrests two for drugs, weapon

In a significant drug enforcement operation, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Combined Drug Unit conducted a targeted search warrant on Robin Hood Road that resulted in two arrests and the seizure of substantial illegal contraband on Tuesday.
Law enforcement officials recovered more than 400 grams of marijuana and a stolen handgun during the operation, marking a notable disruption of potential local drug distribution activities.
Tammy O’Neal and Edwin Easterling were apprehended at the scene and now face serious criminal charges. O’Neal has been charged with three counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana and Possession of a Stolen Handgun. Easterling is facing charges of Distribution of Marijuana.
Sheriff’s representatives indicate that the investigation is ongoing, suggesting the possibility of additional charges pending further investigation.
The DCSO Combined Drug Unit continues to work to reduce illegal drug activity in Darlington County, demonstrating their commitment to community safety.
