Darlington runners remember officers lost

A group of Darlington runners has trekked 394 miles in memory of fallen law enforcement officers.
The journey began last Monday at Fitness World Gyms in Darlington led by its owner, Curtis Boyd. Over the course of six days, the group ran one mile for every police officer (including 10 fallen K-9 officers) ever killed in the line of duty in South Carolina.
The runners rounded the Darlington Public Square on Friday morning and completed the final leg of their journey.
Along the course, Boyd was joined by police officers and supporters from throughout the Pee Dee who laced up their shoes and logged miles for the cause.
