Darlington NAACP plans event
The Darlington Branch of the NAACP is planning a “meet and greet” July 27 in honor of its 100th anniversary.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Darlington County Cultural Realism Center, 302 Pearl St.
“The NAACP is built on the collective courage of thousands of people of all races, nationalities and faiths united in one premise – that all men and women are created equal,” the group says. “Now celebrating its 100-year anniversary, we want to celebrate with activities leading up to the gala.”
