Crash victims identified
The victims of a single-car crash June 2 on Hoffmeyer Road in Darlington County have been identified as a woman from Lamar and a woman from Hartsville.
Officials said Nicole Blackmon from Lamar and Tabitha Griggs from Hartsville died in the crash. Both were reported to be in their 20s, but Griggs’ obituary says she was 35.
The Highway Patrol says the two were thrown from a Honda and were not wearing seat belts when their car went off the road and overturned.
