Crackdown results in 50 arrests in Hartsville area
Fifty people were arrested on outstanding warrants in a recent operation by several law-enforcement agencies in the Hartsville area.
The two-day crackdown, called Operation Summer Freeze, helped clear 171 outstanding warrants in Darlington, Lee and Chesterfield counties, Hartsville police told WPDE-TV.
Taking part in the operation, WPDE reported, were the U.S. Marshal’s Service, S.C. Probation, Parole and Pardon Services, Darlington Police Department, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
