Construction on new elementary school continues

Construction continues on Darlington’s new elementary school, which will replace both J.L. Cain Elementary and Brunson-Dargan Elementary. These photos were shot July 30. The new school – one of three being built in Darlington County – is to open in the fall of 2020. A name for the school has not yet been chosen. The construction site is next to Cain Elementary.
