Christy B. Moody named Chief Nursing Officer for Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center

Christy B. Moody, RN, BSN, CCRN has been appointed Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) in Hartsville, SC.

A proven healthcare leader with more than 24 years of critical care experience (16 of those being in hospital leadership), Moody is well qualified for this role. She has worked for CPRMC for the past 14 years. Prior to assuming the role of CNO, she worked as Director of Acute & Critical Care Services – a position she held for 10 years.

She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Florence-Darlington Technical College and Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Western Governor’s University. Currently, she is completing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Nursing Leadership/ Management. With certifications in Medical/Surgical Nursing and Critical Care Nursing, Moody has also worked at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Palmetto Health Richland and McLeod Health Cheraw.

She and her husband, Franklin, have three children: Courtney, Bethany and Caitlyn.
