Friday, June 17th, the Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Jumping to New Heights program at 116 South Main Street in Darlington.
Community Changers help The Lord Cares Ministry Food Bank
The Community Changers of Darlington, in addition to running a summer youth camp in Mechanicsville, are also undertaking several summer projects to help the community – such as this one at The Lord Cares food bank.

Man held on 8 counts of attempted murder
A man was being held in the Darlington County jail on eight counts of attempted murder in connection with a May 29 shooting incident at the Byerly Park basketball courts in Hartsville.
