Bethleham United Methodist Church held their 1st Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, November 19th at the church, located at 2240 Bethlehem Road in Hartsville.

Last Tuesday, November 8th, elections were held all over the country. In Darlington county, voters had only one local seat with 2 candidates to choose from.
School Board sees changes after election
In the Darlington County School Board election last week, 2 seats were up for grabs – District 5 and District 7. Dr. Thelma Dawson, representing District 3 was also up for reelection but she was running unopposed.
Carolina Pines hosts “Lunch and Learn”
Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center hosted a “Lunch and Learn” on Thursday, November 10th where the subject was “Healthy Nutrition As We Age”.
Local students awarded scholarships
The Central Carolina Technical College Foundation awarded more than 70 scholarships to students totaling more than $80,000 for the 2022-2023 academic year.
