The Ag and Art Tour seeks artisans
It’s time for Ag and Art Artisans recruitment. The June 2018 tour will include 12 South Carolina counties with different counties participating each weekend in June (see schedule below). Burglary under investigation in Darlington
On April 8, Hykeem Romale Mack, age 23, was served with a Burglary I warrant by the Darlington Police Department. The subject entered a residence during the nighttime hours on Law Street and stole several items. The homeowners were able to provide surveillance footage of the subject to law enforcement. This incident is still under investigation by the Darlington Police Department.
Deputies investigating Lamar homicide
Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies continue to investigate a fatal shooting that occurred April 14 at the Cambridge Apartments in the Lamar area. Deputies, with the assistance of the Hartsville Police Department, were able to locate the suspect, Devon Demarco Rembert, 17, of Hartsville.
