Mary McIver Coker Teel It is with deep sadness that the Teel family announces the death of Mrs. Mary McIver Coker Teel on Nov. 18, 2021. Mrs. Teel was born in Society Hill on Feb. 15, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Allen McIver and Laurie Drummond Coker. Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Teel Sr., she is survived by her children, Laurie T. Barnhart, William J. Teel Jr., and Elise A. Teel; grandchildren William J. Teel III, Caleb E. Teel, David A. Teel, and Marci T. Byrd; great grandchildren, Mary-Katherine L. Teel, Kenji E. Teel and Dristian Byrd; nephew John A. Cepin, niece Caroline C. Benser and special friend Eugene Aycock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Kalmia Gardens, Hartsville.
