Investigators arrest Detention Center officer
An officer at the Darlington County jail has been arrested for allegedly providing contraband to an inmate. Halie Bryce Goodwin, 23, of Florence, was arrested Friday, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators have charged Goodwin with misconduct in office. According to investigators, between February and April, Goodwin brought contraband into the Detention Center for an inmate.
