DHS band members suffer heat-related problems
Three members of the Darlington High School marching band were taken by ambulance to a hospital last week after suffering heat-related problems during band practice, local media reported. The Darlington County School District told WPDE-TV that three students were hospitalized Aug. 7 “for observation.” WPDE reported that “several” ambulance crews responded to the high school, alarming some parents.
