Man held in 2 shootings

A Lamar man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a convenience store that wounded two people. Willie Dytavious Scipio, 25, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office. On Saturday, someone shot two people at the Markette convenience store at 104 W. Bobo Newsom Highway. Reports said they drove themselves to a hospital.
