Darlington names finalists for police chief
The City of Darlington has named four finalists for the chief of police position, and residents have a chance to meet them this week at City Hall. The four finalists are Kelvin C. Washington of Hemingway, James Hudson of Hartsville, Kimberly Nelson of Hartsville, and Julius Riley of Cheraw. Black Creek Arts hosts signature cocktail competition
Black Creek Arts Council in Hartsville hosted a fun charity event last week – a mixology competition where guest barkeeps whipped up custom cocktails for guests. Proceeds from the event benefit arts and community engagement programs at Black Creek.
