Windham named to Harp Ensemble

GREENVILLE– Bob Jones University recently named Kimberly Windham of Darlington to the 2017 Chamber Harp Ensemble, one of several small performing groups at BJU.

Windham is a junior majoring in Music Education.

The Chamber Harp Ensemble is typically comprised of 8-12 harps and the group is open to all students who have previous playing experience. Students desiring to participate in the Chamber Harp Ensemble perform an audition at the start of the fall semester.

“Our repertoire this semester has been very challenging work, but it’s exciting to see students who are thrilled to work together for the glory of God,” says Emily Waggoner, director of Harp Studies and assistant professor of music at BJU.

“Team work is vital for musicians, and I’m excited to have this opportunity to further my student’s musical progress.”
The Chamber Harp Ensemble performs for a variety of campus events, including the annual High School Festival, Christmas Celebration, and Bible Conference, chapel services, and recitals, as well as several off-campus ministries.

Located in Greenville, South Carolina, Bob Jones University provides an outstanding regionally accredited Christian liberal arts education purposely designed to inspire a lifelong pursuit of learning, loving and leading.
