Weiland awarded scholarship from Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine

Ana Weiland of Darlington, South Carolina received a scholarship at the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) Scholarship and Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 2, 2016. A total of $42,200 in scholarships were awarded to 17 veterinary medicine students.

Weiland was awarded the LMU-CVM Snider Whitaker Endowed Research Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a first year student based on academics and proficiency in research.
“We are proud to recognize these veterinary students for their academic excellence, proficiency in research, community service and leadership,” LMU-CVM Dean Dr. Glen Hoffsis said. “We hope that through these scholarships our students will be encouraged to continue striving to be leaders in the field of veterinary medicine.”

The Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine is located on the LMU main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee, with additional academic facilities in nearby Lee County, Virginia.
