Linda McPeake Miles

Linda McPeake Miles left us on April 10, 2018. She was born June 21, 1949 in Dyersburg, Tennessee. She has resided in Darlington County for over 20 years with her husband of almost 30 years. Linda was a loving wife, mama and grandmama.

Linda was retired from working as she became disabled in 2001. She loved to work on her embroidery machine making gifts for others. She was very active in Darlington County School District at her daughter’s previous schools when she was younger, as a former PTA volunteer. Linda was always helping those around her, as she hated to see others struggle.

She loved to help others so much that she donated her body to science in hopes that a student will learn something new from her. There will be no funeral, as she hated to go to funerals. There will be a Celebration of Life service after her ashes have been returned to her family.

She is survived by her husband James ‘Ray’ Miles, her daughter Jessica Miles Larrimore, her son-in-law David Seth Larrimore, three grandchildren Cameron, Ellie Mae, and Harrison Larrimore. Her son Martin Kenneth Tassin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Maxine McPeake, her brother Larry McPeake, two children, Raymond and Virginia Tassin, and numerous aunts and uncles.
