Despite their name, Tractor Supply Co. doesn’t actually sell tractors, but they do carry “everything else for life out here,” and their newly opened Darlington store is ready to provide the community with a wide array of products and services to make rural life easier and better.

“We have a little bit of everything here. It’s more than most people might think,” says store manager Kyle Broadwell, observing that the store has an awful lot more in stock than the modest facade might indicate.
Offering an array of horse tack, feed and supplies for livestock, pets, and wild birds, Tractor Supply Co. has what you need to keep all your animals nourished and happy. They stock fencing and pens for critters large and small, as well as a good selection of dog training crates and pet carriers.

The store also features a pet wash station where customers can bring in their four-legged friends and give them a nice warm bath for only $9.99. The store provides the wash bays, dryers, towels, shampoo and grooming tools – you provide your slightly dirty (or filthy, they won’t judge) pet.

Yard and garden chores are a breeze with the right equipment, and Tractor Supply Co. offers quality brands like Cub Cadet, Poulan, and Bad Boy to get those tasks done with a minimum of fuss. The store carries everything from rakes and wheel barrows to mower blades and mulch, so check out TSC next time your ‘honey-do’ list includes outdoor chores.

Hunters can track down bargains on a wide variety of essentials, from gun safes and tree stands to deer corn and trail cameras. Tractor Supply Co. also carries top name hunting and outdoor clothing and footwear from Carhartt, Wrangler, and Justin, among others.

Welders can find a wealth of gear and accessories, and the store has a well-stocked hardware section (with tools by DeWalt, Porter Cable, Ingersoll Rand, and Hobart) to stock up on supplies or complete that home improvement or repair project.

With locations in Darlington, Florence, Marion, and Sumter, Tractor Supply Co. is a fast-expanding business, which Broadwell notes is second to only Dollar General in terms of growth. He credits part of this rapid success to the positive and helpful attitude the company encourages in its employees.

“It’s a very good company to grow with. You just have to work hard at it and follow its missions and values,” says Broadwell.

Broadwell started working with Tractor Supply Co. almost two years ago as a feed associate and says the company is a good place for hard workers to find advancement. Even hires who know little about rural needs are brought up to speed quickly by the company’s training program, which provides expert instruction from vendors like Purina and Cub Cadet on topics from animal feed to outdoor power equipment.

With 18 people on staff at the Darlington store, Broadwell says each is expected to bring a “winning attitude” to work each day and provide customers with a good shopping experience. You are invited to visit and explore all the ways the new Darlington TSC can help you.
