The Lamar Egg Scramble

Lamar’s annual Egg Scramble, a tradition since the early 1980s, was held from Thursday through Saturday. The town says the event usually brings in about 7,000 visitors. Saturday night, local news media reported that a “fight” forced law-enforcement officers to shut down the festival earlier than usual. No details of the alleged disturbance were immediately available.
