Sweet Potato Festival offers a sweet, family-fun atmosphere
The 25th annual Sweet Potato Festival kicked off in downtown Darlington Oct. 14, with hundreds of people filling the streets. Between the arts and craft vendors, car show, games and fair food there was something for everyone.
The Yam Jam later in the day featured Eaglewing, an Eagles tribute band. Listeners were treated to musical journey as the band played hits from 1971 thru 2007.
Smiles could be seen all around as everyone enjoyed the family-friendly festival.
