Williamson graduates from the University of the South
SEWANEE, TENN.–Charles Shropshire Williamson of Highlands, North Carolina, was awarded a BA in geology at the University of the South’s 2018 commencement ceremonies held in All Saints’ Chapel on the Sewanee campus on May 13. Charles Shropshire Williamson is the child of Thomas B. Williamson of Darlington.

The University of the South, familiarly known as Sewanee, is an independent liberal arts college located on 13,000 acres atop Tennessee’s Cumberland Plateau between Nashville and Chattanooga. It has been consistently ranked among the top tier of national liberal arts colleges.

Joretta Morris named to Dean’s List at Coastal Carolina
CONWAY– More than 2,000 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2018 semester. Students who make the Dean’s List have achieved a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester. CCU has a student population of 10,600.

Among those named to the Dean’s List:
Joretta Morris, a political science major from Darlington.

Students named to President’s List at Coastal Carolina
CONWAY–Nearly 750 students have been named to the President’s List at Coastal Carolina University for the Spring 2018 semester. Students named to the President’s List acheived a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the semester.

Among those students named to the President’s List:
Brianna Franklin, a Public Health major from Florence
Casey Ludwick, a Marine Science major from Hartsville
Paris Miller, a Accounting major from Darlington
Dylan Moore, a Exercise and Sport Science major from Florence
