Sheriff’s Office participates in Southern Shield Campaign
On July 19, 2017 Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance of the Hartsville
Police Department, participated in the Southern Shield Campaign on the Darlington County portion of Interstate
20.
Sheriff’s Deputies made several arrests including:
1 Trafficking Cocaine
1 Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
1 Felon in Possession of a Firearm
1 Failure to Stop for a Blue light
2 Active Darlington County Arrest Warrants
Sheriff’s Deputies issued the following citations:
17 Unlawful lane changes
8 Speeding violations
2 Left of center
4 Unlawful tint
2 Move over violations
2 Defective equipment
1 Seatbelt violation
1 Vehicle license violation
1 Following to close
1 Driving under suspension
1 Driving under the influence
