S.C. Aquarium visits the Darlington Library
Gators and turtles and snakes, oh my! Kids were able to meet (and pet) these and other animals as Marnie Friedman and Kristen Goehring brought some of their friends from the South Carolina Aquarium to the Darlington Library. The visit was part of the library’s “A Universe of Stories” summer reading and learning program. Kids in attendance heard all about some of our scaly and slimy native critters, then those who were brave enough stepped up and petted Eric the yellow rat snake, Cupid the box turtle and a baby American alligator.
