“I want to thank SIMT and Vice President of Technology and Manufacturing Mark Roth and Director of Facilities Management Kathy Rogers for allowing us the opportunity to showcase their wonderful facility and bring an event of this magnitude to the college,” Player said. “The Miss South Carolina and Miss America pageants are huge traditions and for us to hold a local preliminary for these pageants here will make it more prestigious.”
