Wofford College confers degrees to 394 graduates
SPARTANBURG, SC– Wofford College conferred 418 degrees on 394 graduates during the 2018 Commencement exercise on Sunday, May 20. Area students included:
•Constance Emiline Campbell received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting, minor in economics, cum laude. Campbell is from Hartsville
•Drake Joseph Cassidy received a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics. Cassidy is from Hartsville
•Hannah Rene’ Demaurice received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, minor in studio art. Demaurice is from Darlington
•Kaley Rebecca Elmore received bachelor of art degrees in accounting and finance, magna cum laude. Elmore is from Florence
•William McLeod Holland received a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance, minors in accounting and government. Holland is from Florence
•Emily Weston Kannon received Bachelor of Art degrees in government and history, concentration in political theory, magna cum laude. Kannon is from Florence
•Warren Mark Matthews Jr. received Bachelor of Art degrees in French and international affairs. Matthews is from Darlington
•Michael Dupre Pavy Jr. received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Pavy is from Timmonsville
•Turner Lynn Rainwater received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, minor in business, summa cum laude, honor graduate. Rainwater is from Florence
•Linxi Xu received Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and computer science, minor in mathematics, emphasis in computational science, cum laude. Xu is from Darlington
Wofford College, established in 1854, is a four-year, residential liberal arts college located in Spartanburg, S.C. It offers 26 major fields of study to a student body of 1,690 undergraduates. Lyde earns honors from Coker College
Jasmine Lyda, daughter of Mary Lyde, has been named to the President’s List at Coker College. Lyde graduated from Darlington High School in 2014. She is majoring in Criminology at Coker.
Shepard graduates from York College of Pennsylvania
YORK, PA — Patrick Shepard of Hartsville graduated from York College of Pennsylvania on May 12. Shepard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management.
