LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Thankful for employees who go above and beyond
Dear Editor,
Sitting in my car at the Food Lion, I noticed my neighbor putting groceries in a truck, I thought-she got a new truck… She went back in the store (She works there). On the phone, still in my car, I saw a gentleman walking across parking lot, with a cane in each hand to help him walk, he got into that truck…How lucky that store is to have an employee that cares enough to help their customers this way. You could tell this man really appreciated her help. I know her actions made an impression that meant a lot for being so helpful to him…so, if you go to Food Lion, let them know Dena Thomas is a great asset to their store, they should be proud to have someone like her as an employee.
