J.L. Cain Elementary School May Day winners announced
J. L. Cain Elementary School held their annual May Day on Friday, May 4, 2018. Theme: “Reaching for the Stars” May Day Winners were: Miss Haylei Dixon was crowned “May Queen” 2018, she is the daughter of Ms. Tasheka Sawyer and Mr. Rashaun Chapman . Master Nathan Smith was crowned “May King” 2018 he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jarrott Smith. Miss Hannah Tarlton was crowned “Little Miss” 2018, she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Tab Tarlton. Master Dreden Bethea was crowned “Little Master” 2018, he is the son of Ms. Denean Jessup. Miss Tanner Blackwell was crowned “Wee Miss” 2018, she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Reed Blackwell. Master Christian English was crowned “Wee Master” 201, he is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Jason English.
Runner Up Queen Contestants were: Ke’Ari Keels, Kailyn Washington and Kayleigh Brown. Runner Up King Contestants were: Trevor Nealey, Alston Singletary and Landry Rogers.
May Queen Contestants were: Mariah Thomas, Jada Isaac, Carrie Maine, Kylee Shearon, Angelia Gainey, Nygeria Hickman, Ju’Kyerria Hudson, Chassidy Scott, Erin Douglas, Tianna James, Laughlin Warren, Laney Blackwell, Allaija Davis, Mar’khaya Berry, A’moni James, Wisdom Easterling, Jameria Alford, Akaylen Holmes, Markel’ya Berry, Bran’Daisha Thomas, Kasey Lopez Dela Cruz, Kaymeryn Mills and Chrislyn Hunter. May Day King Contestants were: Jonathan Carter, Colbee
Smith, Zaylor Hatcher, Ayken Weaver, Johan Cox, Triston Kelley, James Warren, Lowell Tincher, and Aneudy Lopez Dela Cruz.
Entertainment was performed by each grade level. Miss Madson Streater and Master Silvan Cook were the Mistresses & Master of Ceremony. Program Participants: Dy’Nira James, Lilly Davis, Megan McClain, TiMir Pearson, Ford Sturgill, Daijiona Whitten, Javion Burgess, Levi Lewis, Treyvon James and Dailyona Whitten.
