Gallant graduates with PhD from Harvard
Denva Jackson Gallant received a PhD from the Department of History of Art and Architecture, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA on May 23, 2018.
Dr. Gallant received several awards and honors and made many public lectures during her studies at Harvard. She is proficient in Latin, German and French. She also speaks Italian fluently.
She and her husband Joe reside in Newark, Delaware where she will be teaching at the University of Delaware in the fall.
Denva is the daughter of the late Hartwell and Betty Jackson, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Samuel and the late Helen Jackson. She is the niece of Sheila and Edward Samuel Jr. and Mrs. Henrietta Pauley Nelson.
