Freedom Fest is June 29 at Raceway
The sixth annual Darlington Chamber of Commerce’s Freedom Fest is June 29 at the Darlington Raceway.
There’s no admission charge for the event, but organizers will charge $1 for parking.
The event runs from 5-10 p.m.
Last year, an estimated 20,000 people attended Freedom Fest, according to the chamber.
No coolers or pets are allowed, the chamber says, but guests can bring lounge chairs and sit up in front of the band stage. The band is Johnny Glenn and the Chasers of Lugoff.
A fireworks display is set to begin after dark; the chamber says it will be the biggest fireworks show in the Pee Dee.
