Darlington Police arrest three on multiple drug charges

On 5/31/2018 at approximately 3:30 am, officers with the Darlington Police Department responded to 102 Faith Lane in the City of Darlington to a report of a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived on the scene they observed marijuana and cocaine. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and other amounts of powder cocaine, crack cocaine, methylenedioxymethanmphetamine (M.D.M.A.)”ecstasy”, and cash were located in the residence. This case is still under investigation by the Darlington Police Department. Reginald Andre Dudley age 25, Nikia Lakenya Smith age 24 and Shanitta Danyel Alford age 24 were arrested and charged with Trafficking in powder, crack cocaine, MDMA, marijuana and possession with intent to distribute. The subjects were also charged with Possession of a firearm during a violent crime.

“Drug dealing of any type will not be tolerated within the city of limits of Darlington. We thank the officers involved in this investigation for their dedication to keeping drugs out of the hands of our young people and other citizens in Darlington”, stated Kelvin Washington, Chief of Police for Darlington.
