Darlington High athletics director announces resignation
Phil Jones, athletics director for Darlington High School, announced April 17 that he will resign his position at the end of the academic year in order to pursue other professional opportunities.
Jones joined Darlington High School in 2013. During his time at the head of athletic programs for the school, he worked to provide and advance many positive opportunities for student-athletes. He also worked to improve athletic facilities at the school.
The search for a new athletics director for next school year will begin soon.
