Darlington County School District announces graduation plans

Darlington County School District announces the upcoming graduation plans for schools across the county:

The Darlington County Institute of Technology will hold its ceremony on May 11, 2016, at 6 p.m. in the Darlington Middle School gymnasium. Admission will be open to everyone.

Darlington County Adult Education will hold its ceremony on May 24, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of St. John’s Elementary School. Only those with tickets will be allowed admission.

The Darlington County Intervention School (DCIS) will hold its ceremony on May 26, 2016, at 10 a.m. in the DCIS cafeteria. The ceremony will be invite only.

Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology will hold its ceremony on May 26, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. in the SiMT building on the campus of Florence-Darlington Technical College. Only those with tickets will be allowed admission.

Lamar High School (LHS) will hold its ceremony on May 26, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Donald R. Poole Stadium at LHS. The ceremony will be open to everyone as long as weather permits. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the school’s gymnasium, and only those with tickets will be allowed admission.

Darlington High School (DHS) will hold its ceremony on May 27, 2016, at 5 p.m. in the DHS gymnasium. Only those with tickets will be allowed admission.

Hartsville High School (HHS) will hold its ceremony on May 27, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the HHS Arena. Only those with tickets will be allowed admission.
