Darlington County 4-H to host eclipse workshop

Darlington County 4-H will be hosting a “Don’t Stare into the Sun!” eclipse preparation workshop on August 15, 2017, 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Darlington County Extension Service Office for all youth ages 5 – 19. This workshop will be just for fun. All participants are asked to bring an empty, clean Pringles chips can to use in making a pinhole camera. Participants will also decorate the ISO eclipse viewing glasses to take home.

Cost: $15 (includes 2017-18 4-H membership and t-shirt, a snack, a pair of ISO approved eclipse viewing glasses and other supplies)

Register by: August 14th, 12:00 p.m. (Class size limited to first 15 registered and paid.)
