Coker Women’s Lacrosse signs four

Coker College head women’s lacrosse coach Kate Keagins announced that four players have signed to play lacrosse in 2018-19.

Meagan Gallagher is an attacker hailing from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. Gallagher played both field hockey and lacrosse for the Falcons. She was a student athletic trainer and participated in Best Buddies and DIY. Gallagher played for M&D Lacrosse Club 2018 Red. The Union Bridge, Md. native is the daughter of John and Kelly Gallagher and plans to major in exercise science.

Hannah Shuren is an attacker from Bellport Senior High School, where she played lacrosse, soccer, and ran track for the Clippers. Shuren is a member of the science honor society, SEQ, and is the secretary of Athletes Helping Others. She also played for the Long Island Beach Bums. The East Patchogue, N.Y. native is the daughter of Amy and Brian Shuren and is undecided on her major.

Reagan Parr is a midfielder for St. James High School where she competed in both lacrosse and cross-country for the Sharks. Parr played lacrosse all four years in high school and was a part of the cross-country squad for the past two seasons. Academically, Parr was named to the honor roll throughout her high school years and is a member of the National Honors Society. She also played for the Myrtle Beach Wave Girls Lacrosse team. The Murrells Inlet, S.C. native is the daughter of Thomas and Michele Parr, and plans to pursue chemistry as her major.

Olivia Green is a defender from St. James High School, where she played lacrosse for the Sharks. She was a part of the FCCLA Student Athletic Training program. Green also played for the Myrtle Beach Wave travel lacrosse program. The Myrtle Beach, S.C. native is the daughter of Lisa and Ferrell Green, and plans to major in psychology.
