City of Hartsville Parks and Recreation to host basketball skills camp

The Florence Wildcats will be offering their knowledge of basketball for a free skills camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 16. The camp will be hosted by the City of Hartsville Parks and Recreation at the Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center, 701 W. Washington St. on Sat., Dec. 9 from noon to 3 p.m.

“We wanted to provide something positive, upbeat and enjoyable for youth in the Hartsville community,” says Director of Basketball Operations and Part-Owner of the Florence Wildcats, Isaac Wilson, “We also believe in setting a great example for the youth by letting them know we care about them.”

Those interested in participating can register before the event by contacting Jessica Cohen, Sports and Group Tourism Coordinator, at 843.339.2878 or jessica.cohen@hartsvillesc.gov. Participants can also register on the day of the
event.
