City of Darlington employees and government officials donned their prettiest shades of pink Oct. 10, showing support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year during October, many businesses, organizations and individuals wear pink to draw attention to this deadly disease, which will strike 1 in 8 American women during their lifetime, and the ongoing efforts to find a cure.
