Bar-B-Que Fundraiser
Mechanicsville Baptist Church, 2364 Cashua Ferry Road, will hold a Bar-B-Que Fundraiser Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is $8 a plate. The event will feature a country store, bake sale, pie eating contest and auctions. For more information, call 843-393-1029.

Marriage Conference
New Beginnings Church will be hosting a marriage conference with Brian and Jennie Edwards on Oct 21, 2017 at The Music Hall at 1945 Harry Byrd Hwy, Darlington, SC. The conference will begin at 10:00am. Married, Engaged, Divorced or Single all are welcome to come out and join us.

St. Matthews Church trail run
We want you to get out and get moving. Starting Oct 21, we’ll be gathering every other Saturday morning at 7 a.m. for a devotion before heading out. Our trails will run through Williamson Park. You can walk, jog, run, skip, or dance your way along, whatever suits your style. All are welcome.

Centennial Celebration Weekend

Harvest Festival
Savannah Grove A.M.E. Church, 1401 Andrews Mill Rd, Lamar, will have their annual Harvest Festival program Sunday, October 22 at 4 p.m. Rev. Robert Hunter and the Union A.M.E. Church Family, Lake View, will be the guests.

100 Women in White and 100 Men in Black Celebration
Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 3208 N. Governor Williams Highway, will hold their annual 100 Women in White and 100 Men in Black Celebration Oct. 22 at 4 p.m. For additional information, call 843-669-2002.

Women Of Worth
Women of Worth, the ladies of Great Commission Ministries in Darlington, invites all ladies to attend its monthly meeting on October 23 at 7 p.m. The address is 757 Wire Road Darlington SC, 29532. The Upper Room Holy Ghost Mission

The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
