Homecoming
On behalf of Reverend Zachary Dillard, Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, located in the Bethel Community, will host their 49th Homecoming event and 143 years of existence on Sunday, October 28, 2018. Our guest speaker will be Reverend Thomas Bowman, Sr. of St. Mark United Methodist Church located in North, South Carolina. Our morning services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Come out and celebrate with us on this festive occasion.

Revival
Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, located in the Bethel Community, will host their annual revival from October 22nd through October 24th, 2018 beginning at 6:30 p.m. nightly. Our guest speaker will be Reverend Doctor Reggie Lee of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church located in Florence, South Carolina. Come and join us in fellowship and hear God’s word. Fall Summit
The Woman’s Pee Dee District Department of the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association will hold its Fall Summit on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Second Baptist Church on 212 West Washington St., Hartsville, SC 29550 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend J. D. Blue is pastor. Registration begins at 9:40 a.m. and health screening will be provided. Please remember to bring your can goods. The Workshop presenter will be Mrs. Shonette Dargan, Shelter Program Director for the Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.

Homecoming
Central Baptist Church’s Homecoming will be Sunday, October 14, 2018. We welcome Dr. Joe Willard and his wife, Lisa, to our church. Dr. Willard, the Director of Missions for the Welsh Neck Baptist Association, will deliver the sermon that morning. Join us for the service at 10:30am and stay after the service for a meal provided by our members and Bazen’s Restaurant of Florence. The meal will be served in our church activity building. New Life In Christ Church of Darlington, 119 Chestnut St., Darlington, will hold a Noon Day Prayer Service every Friday. Please come out and join us. The Pastor is the Rev Emory P. Boyd Sr.

The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
