Winter Summit
The Woman’s Baptist Pee Dee District Department’s Winter Summit will be held January 10, 2015 at Old Field Missionary Baptist Church, 6212 Old Field Court, Mullins, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Larry Jackson is pastor and Mrs. Cora Brown is missionary president. The workshop presenter will be Dr. Ernest K. Nicholson, Executive Director of Darlington County Community Action Agency. The Health/Nurses committee will provide health screenings during registration. Registration will begin promptly at 9:40 a.m.

Food Pantry at Bethel AME, Care and Share Ministry
To families of Darlington County that are in need of food and meet the criteria, Bethel AME Church, located at 1333 South Main Street in Darlington, distributes food on the third Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. To receive food, you must have a photo identification card with your current address. You will be required to complete an application when you come in. This agency operates under the Harvest Hope Food Bank.
