Center Baptist Church celebrates Seniors
Senior members of Center Baptist Church of Timmonsville gathered at Rogers Barbecue in Florence this past weekend to enjoy fellowship and share a meal as part of the church’s annual Senior Citizens weekend. This celebration also included a special Sunday morning service with a message from guest speaker Pastor J.D. Blue of Hartsville’s Second Baptist Church focused on honoring the church’s many senior members.
Center Baptist Pastor Jackie Boyd, who is celebrating 30 years with the church, said the senior citizen gatherings provide church members a chance to enjoy a group outing with delicious food and good company.
“It is so great that we could all come together and be here today. This is a wonderful opportunity to have fellowship and show our love toward each other,” said Pastor Boyd.
