Major League Baseball stars Ken Griffey Jr. and Orlando Hudson chatted with fans last Monday night and signed autographs at Hartsville’s T.B. Thomas Center. Griffey and Hudson covered topics ranging from hunting – which Griffey described as “taking my rifle for a long hike” – to advising parents to just “let your kids be kids” and enjoy youth sports without applying joy-killing amounts of pressure. Later in the week, the pair joined the Coker College Cobras to coach up young baseball players during a three-day camp held at Byerly Park.
