The City of Darlington Beautification Board and Darlington Garden Club held the fall Clean Up Darlington Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 5, in preparation for the S.C. Sweet Potato Festival. Teams of volunteers painted parking space lines, freshened pine straw beds and plantings, picked up trash, and swept intersections to tidy up our town.
